Jalisco Laws, Los Sabinos Bylaws & Regulations, etc.
Los Sabinos is a corporation under Jalisco Civil Law, with its own Bylaws and other Regulations.
PLEASE NOTE: the legal foundations and practices are DIFFERENT from condominiums in Canada or the USA. For example, there is no HOA (Homeowners Association), no Board of Directors, no voluntary participation. They are also different from civil associations in fraccionamientos, which are voluntary and governed by a different section of Jalisco Civil Law.

BYLAWS: As required in State Law, we have established a set of Bylaws, which are legally registered (protocolized) with the Municipality and binding on all Residents (Owners and Renters and their families). These were last reviewed and amended in 2012 at an Extraordinary Assembly of Owners by a supermajority of over 75% of corporate voting rights. The spanish translation was protocolized on 23-Feb-2013 to make them part of the legal court records. They are now undergoing a 2-year review process.

REGULATIONS: As set out in State Law, we have elected an Administrative Council of volunteers and appointed an Administrator. As set out in our Bylaws, we have a set of regulations for making changes to private units (your casa and land) and and Architecture Committee to review requests for approval from owners and make recommendations to the Administrative Council. As set out in the Bylaws, we have established a further set of regulations in a Handbook and a Colour Palette, as well as protocols for the Architecture Committee.
