Both services are provided by Telmex by a photo-optic cable to each casa.

What Administration will do

What you should do

  • with your TelMex bill in hand, use your cell phone to call   800 123 2222
  • when you get the recording,   { dial   1   , then pause }.   Do this three times.
    there may be a long wait after the third pause
  • if needed, ask the TelMex call centre person for someone who speaks English
    say:   mi EspaƱol es muy poquito.  necessito hablar ingles
    there will be a long pause before an English-speaking person comes on the line
  • explain the problem and give him/her your casa telephone number
    you will be given the problem ticket number and the estimated response time.
    write this number down for your followup call

  • print this page and keep it handy
  • keep a copy of your TelMex bill handy
  • make sure your cellphone is charged
